The hospital is a 19-bed acute care facility with a “swing bed” (skilled nursing) program for continued stay after being dismissed from acute care. Through a partnership with Avera, electronic ICU is provided for intensive care monitoring so patients can stay close to home while receiving around-the-clock care. Our Patient Care area is staffed with trained medical professionals who care for you and your family in times of need. We offer safe, private, and comfortable single-patient rooms that were designed for optimal health and well-being. You will love looking out our large windows with beautiful views of the healing garden.
With more general surgeons moving to Sioux Center, our expanded Surgery Center allows you to stay close to home. We have 2 surgery suites and 10 new patient rooms that will accommodate large volumes of same-day and specialized procedures. More
Diagnostic Imaging is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that helps improve accuracy, test times, and radiation exposure. We offer diagnostic tests using Bone Density Scan (DEXA), Computed Tomography (CT), Echocardiogram (ECHO), Electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG), Electroencephalogram (EEG), Fluoroscopy, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography and Breast Imaging Services, Nuclear medicine, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Ultrasound, and X-ray. Emergency Center has its own private entrance that is staffed 24 hours a day. We have 4 exam rooms to provide privacy for our patients with convenient access to Diagnostic Imaging and Surgery for quick diagnosis and treatment. The 2 trauma rooms are integrated with the latest Avera e-Emergency technology that has a two-way video available for our doctors to communicate with board-certified emergency physicians and emergency-trained nurses from Avera in treating trauma, heart attack, stroke and other critical conditions. Lab is located next to the Family Medicine Clinic for the convenience of our patients. We have 3 private draw rooms for patients to come in from the Town Center or from the clinic. Our lab now provides a new and simple way to get your wellness screenings. Simply stop by admissions at the hospital from Monday – Friday from 7 am – 11 am for a walk-in appointments.
