Our Ministry

Sioux Center Health is a faith-based, not-for-profit health ministry committed to providing the comprehensive health care and health related services in Northwest Iowa. Since its establishment in 1951, the health ministry has been dedicated to serving the physical, mental and spiritual health needs for all individuals.

From routine checkups to specialized surgeries, Sioux Center Health provides comprehensive care for all aspects of an individual’s life. Each patient receives the utmost care and attention with access to advanced, up-to-date medical equipment and technology.

In 2014, Sioux Center Health opened a new 123,500 sq ft facility that provides family-centered care throughout all stages of life. The beautifully designed facility gives patients a healing environment for maximum patient safety, privacy, and comfort. The facility houses many departments such as the medical clinic, specialty clinic, surgery center, emergency, therapy center, inpatient care and more.

The hospital is a 19-bed acute care facility with a “swing bed” (skilled nursing) program for continued stay after being dismissed from acute care. Through a partnership with Avera, electronic ICU is provided for intensive care monitoring so patients can stay close to home while receiving around-the-clock care.

Two medical clinics in Sioux Center and Hull feature experienced family medicine providers who care for patients with health concerns or routine checkups. The hospital continues to offer a variety of specialty clinics and outreach services allowing patients to stay close to home.

A new Birthing Center offers expectant mothers total comfort of home and peace of mind. The Birthing Center features two spacious birthing rooms, four postpartum suites, whirlpool spas, wireless internet, and comfortable family rooms and snack bar.

For local area seniors, the organization provides a full continuum of senior living facilities. Royale Meadows Care Center, a 69-bed skilled nursing facility, provides 24-hour nursing care in a newer state-of-the-art homelike setting. Crown Pointe and Franken Manor Independent and Assisted Living facilities offer a variety of services that promote independence and choice in a supervised and caring environment.

As the town continues to grow, so do the health needs of the community. Sioux Center Health remains involved in community education and support programs, physical therapy, child day care, occupational health services, community health screenings, cardiac rehabilitation, memory diagnostics and an extensive home health and hospice program.
