Sioux Center Health Royale Meadows received a five star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Nursing Home Compare website. Nursing Home Compare contains quality of care information for every Medicare and Medicaid-certified nursing home in the United States. Nursing homes vary in the quality of care and services they provide and this quality rating system is designed to provide an overview of the individual care each resident in the facility receives.
“The five star rating is a testament to our high level of staffing, our positive annual inspection history and our excellent performance in meeting quality standards,” states Joe Heitritter, Senior Services Officer for Sioux Center Health. “We’re very proud of our staff at Royale Meadows, and all the efforts they make to enhance the quality of life for each of our residents.”
The new ratings were released in February and are designed to put tougher standards in place to make it more difficult to get a five star rating. This was proven to be true, with about 30 percent of nursing homes across the country getting lower scores. With these new and more challenging measures, Royale Meadows still received a five star rating. Royale Meadows is currently the only five star facility in Sioux County.
Royale Meadows is a state-of-the-art, skilled nursing facility, owned and operated by Sioux Center Health.Leave a reply →
